© St. Petersburg Times, Fable spoofThe Francis Wilson Playhouse will present the Florida premier of the original musical comedy,Cinderella Two, also called After the Ball, based on a book by William Cotter with music and lyrics by Gil Perlroth, June 7 through June 17. It's a political spoof using the characters in the story Cinderella. The wicked stepmother and the evil prime minister conspire to keep Cinderella and Prince Charming apart to gain power and ascend the throne. Other characters include the stepsisters and a very frazzled fairy godmother. Music is provided by composer/lyricist Gil Perlroth, a resident of Gulfport. Dance tributeLargo's Tutterow Dance Company will celebrate its 25th anniversary by presenting performances during its "Silver Anniversary Jubilee" at 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 McMullen-Booth Road, Clearwater. The event will pay tribute to a quarter century of dance excellence, and honor Gayle and Phyllis Tutterow, who started the company in 1976.
