Softball tour

WHAT: Cross-country barnstorming tour by the Women's Professional Softball League all-stars, making 14 appearances in 11 cities during the next three months.

WHEN: 7 tonight.

WHERE: Plant City Stadium.

TICKETS: $7 for reserved seats; $6 for general admission. For information, call (813) 503-9124

HIGHLIGHTS: Featured players include two-time Olympic gold medalists Lisa Fernandez, Laura Berg and Sheila Douty. Skydivers and fireworks will kick off the game between the two all-star squads. A youth clinic will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the stadium. Pre-registration is $45 and $55 on the day of the clinic. The clinic includes two hours of instruction and a goodie bag.
