COACHES: Carolina -- Doug Kay (16-22, third season). Tampa Bay -- Tim Marcum (132-37, 13th overall).

SERIES: Tampa Bay leads 2-0.

OUTLOOK: The Storm is going for its ninth consecutive regular-season win, which would be the second-longest streak in team history. In its victories this season, the Storm has outscored opponents by an average of 30.2-12.2 in the second half and is winning by an average 22 points. ... The quarterbacks, John Kaleo and Carolina's Fred McNair, have combined for 62 touchdowns and one interception. McNair was the league's player of the week and has 27 TDs without an interception. ... Carolina, coached by former Storm defensive coordinator and Tampa resident Kay, signed former Indianapolis Colt Aaron Bailey and will start him at offensive specialist. The Storm beefed up its offensive and defensive lines by signing four-time All-Arena player and ex-Buc Willie Wyatt, who missed last year with an injury. ...
