Tampa Catholic's Denard Span and Armwood's Mike Pete received first-team all-state baseball recognition Thursday.
Span, a junior outfielder, was named to the Class 3A team after helping Tampa Catholic to its ninth state championship.
Pete, a senior pitcher, made the 4A team after going 9-1 with 2 saves, 116 strikeouts and a 0.53 ERA in 79 innings.
East Bay's Mandy Schuerman and Tampa Bay Tech's Melissa Wiggins were named to the 4A All-State first team Thursday.
Schuerman, a senior pitcher, threw three perfect games and 11 no-hitters while leading East Bay to the state semifinals for the first time.
She finished 24-4 with 319 strikeouts and a 0.34 ERA.
Wiggins, a junior infielder, hit .491 with 22 runs scored and 30 RBI.
Thompson, a 5-foot-6, 165-pound cornerback, had 70 tackles and four interceptions last season. He intercepted 11 passes in three years as a starter
Thompson, who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds, is the ninth Jefferson player to receive a scholarship this year.
