Rahdert, Steele law firm adds partner

The law firm of Rahdert, Steele & Bryan, formerly known as Rahdert & Steele, announces Penelope T. Bryan as a partner. Bryan has been with the firm since 1997. Bryan, a graduate of Stetson University College of Law, handles commercial, communications, civil rights and First Amendment litigation.

Consultant's business now in fitness center

Sherri Singleton has moved her business, In Control Lifestyle Management of Tampa, to 5036 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. It is in the Trainer One Fitness Center. Services include comprehensive fitness assessments, strength training, cardiovascular exercise instruction and nutrition counseling. The company also offers corporate wellness workshops.

Sterling Commodities names trading adviser

Jeff Merkow has been named commodity trading adviser for Sterling Commodities Trading Inc. of Treasure Island. Before joining Sterling, Merkow was with Nextrade of Clearwater.

Business groups offer training programs

St. Petersburg Employment and Economic Development Corp., the Florida Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development, along with Ambassador Business Solutions of Clearwater, are offering training programs and courses on business ownership, beginning Tuesday.
