ADVERTISING: Film Technologies International Inc., 2544 Terminal Drive S, St. Petersburg, won a silver ADDY Award for its FTI -- The Interactive CD-ROM in the interactive disk-based sales package category at the 2001 Tampa Bay Advertising Federation Awards.

BUILDERS/CONTRACTORS: Kearney Development Co., 9625 Alonzo Road, Riverview, announced the following contract: Rivercrest development by Terrabrook. Kearney will be responsible for site development, including infrastructure, utilities, roadways, curbs and the community's storm-drainage system.

Lehigh Group, 2218 Cypress Hollow Court, Safety Harbor, received the Water-Wise Award for its efforts in building water-efficient homes. The Islander II model received the award for an attractive, drought-tolerant landscape, as well as an efficient irrigation system.

Metric Constructors Inc., 5460 Beaumont Center Blvd., No. 520, Tampa, announced the following contract: Hillsborough County Public Schools, construction of Nine Eagles Elementary School in Oldsmar, four-building complex to house 850 students, 80,000 square feet, $6.9-million.
