Basil Allison, a financial adviser and first vice president of investments at Raymond James & Associates at 4345 Commercial Way, has been named to the firm's 2001 President's Council for outstanding client service and exemplary professional growth.

The council members represent the top echelon of the firm's financial advisers. Allison joined Raymond James in 1997 and has more than 15 years of financial and investment experience.

The Service Corps of Retired Executives is holding a seminar on profiling customers and selecting target markets to best promote a business. The Hernando Endoscopy and Surgery Center has announced that it will continue its seminar series starting June 13 at 3 p.m. Dr. Brent Davis will conduct a program called Modern Advances in the Treatment of Shoulder Pain. The seminar will be held at the Conference Center in the Hernando Medical Park, 12208 Cortez Blvd. Dr. Davis, who graduated from St. Louis University, served his internship at St. Louis University Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. He completed a research fellowship at St. Louis University Medical Center, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Pharmacology, and Psychology. He completed residency at St. Louis University. Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Call 596-4999 for reservations. (These seminars reach maximum seating, so call early.)
