Karrie Webb had yet to make a birdie, and Se Ri Pak had once pulled within three strokes, so it wasn't a stroll to the Women's Open title. But Webb breathed easier after the par-4 seventh, where she made a birdie and Pak bogeyed. That stretched her four-stroke lead to six. Although Pak would get to within four again through 15 holes, it was too late.

"That was a huge turning point," Webb said. "I hit two good shots, hit a good putt, made my first birdie. That really settled me down a little bit."
