ALL SALES ARE FINAL
Bay area shoppers bid farewell to Waccamaw's HomePlace stores in Brandon, Palm Harbor, St. Petersburg, Seminole and Tampa as the retailer holds liquidation sales.
New to Clearwater's Countryside Mall is the Children's Place, which offers clothing and accessories for newborns to girls and boys up to size 14. The retailer has stores in St. Petersburg's Tyrone Square and Tampa's WestShore Plaza and plans another in Brandon TownCenter.
Burlington Coat Factory soon will open a store in Seminole Plaza, at Seminole and Park boulevards in mid-Pinellas County, in the space formerly occupied by Roberds.
Bobbi Brown, the makeup artist who created her own line of cosmetics and then sold it to the Estee Lauder companies, is celebrating her 10-year anniversary with a lip gloss version of her original Brown lipstick. Proceeds from the sale of the $18 Brown Lip Gloss will go to the Fresh Air Fund, a non-profit group that sends city children from low-income families to the country from summer vacations. Available on-line at www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com.
