CRYSTAL RIVER -- Police arrested three suspects after break-ins at Oysters and Charlie's Fish House restaurants early Wednesday. Authorities have accused the trio of making off with two empty beer kegs at Charlie's and a keg of beer and two cases of beer at Oysters. A Crystal River Police officer spotted two men leaving Oysters after an alarm sounded there and followed their car, reports showed. The car stopped on NE Fourth Avenue and the men hopped out and ran, leaving a female friend behind, according to the reports. A tipster later led police to the Port Paradise Resort, where two suspects -- Russell James Elmer, 18, of Inglis, and Christopher Leon Lindsay, 20, of Crystal River -- were apprehended. They remained at the Citrus County jail late Wednesday. The girl, 17, of Beverly Hills, whose name was not released because she is a juvenile, was released to her parents.
