School superintendent nominates Hilgert as new district coordinator

INVERNESS -- Richard Hilgert has been recommended by Superintendent David Hickey as the new school district coordinator of student services, equity and compliance.

INVERNESS -- Richard Hilgert has been recommended by Superintendent David Hickey as the new school district coordinator of student services, equity and compliance.

Hilgert, assistant principal at Forest Ridge Elementary School, will take over the job that is being vacated by James Hughes as he moves into an executive director job July 1.

Other administrative appointment recommendations by Hickey this week include John Stratton and Richard Patz as assistant principals at Crystal River Middle School and Regina Allegretta as assistant principal at Homosassa Elementary.

Stratton is a behavioral specialist at the Renaissance Center. Patz is an assistant principal at a high school in Pompano Beach and Allegretta is a teacher on special assignment in the district services center. All the appointments are subject to the approval of the School Board on Tuesday.
