![]() Eddie Fagin, 4, adds a little style to a game of two-square while playing with recreation aide Richard Homer at Camp Funshine, held at the Jerome Brown Community Center in Tom Varn Park in Brooksville. The center, built entirely from donations of more than $300,000 in memory of pro football player and Brooksville resident Jerome Brown, has been a success since opening May 20. In addition to Camp Funshine, which is sponsored by the Hernando County Recreation Department for children age 5 to those entering the seventh grade, the gym is full during the day. It usually has more than 75 children sign in per day, from late afternoon until its 9 p.m. closing. |
