The golfer teamed up with Target stores to offer a free program that encourages kids 11-14 to "establish a set of positive core values that will guide them throughout life and help them become role models for their peers." 'Hot potato' takes new turn
Splash Out (Toymax, under $10) takes the classic hot potato game to a new level. The ball ticks with each toss until the timer runs out and the water balloon pops.
Skateboarding contest set for Saturday

Skatepark of Tampa, 4215 E Columbus Drive, is having an all ages skateboarding contest Saturday. The entry fee is $15 in advance and $20 the day of the event. 'Making the Band' returns to Fridays
O-Town's Making the Band is back on the air at 8 p.m. Fridays on ABC (WFTS-Ch. 28). The guys recently recorded a new song, We Fit Together, for the Dr. Doolittle 2 soundtrack due out this month.
Nerds Rope contest seeks inventors
