Airman Jeffrey M. Keryluk, son of Eileen and Michael Keryluk of Pinellas Park, has completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. His new post is Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Miss., where he is studying ground radar communication.

A 1999 graduate of the Criminal Justice Academy at Pinellas Park High School, Keryluk entered the Air Force in 2001.

Personnel of the Coast Guard cutter Joshua Appleby held a change-of-command ceremony Friday aboard the ship in Bayboro Harbor, St. Petersburg. Chief Warrant Officer Christopher A. Carlsen relieved Chief Warrant Officer Ray O. Sisk during the ceremony.

The crew of CGC Joshua Appleby is responsible for maintaining aids to navigation along the Florida coast from St. Marks River to Key Biscayne National Park near Miami, an area that includes Tampa Bay and the Florida Keys.
