Lopez (2-8, 5.60) has lost his past seven decisions, but is 2-0 against Florida during his career. Lopez's losing streak is the longest in the American League, longest of his career and one shy of the franchise record (8).
Penny (5-1, 4.04) won in his last appearance, allowing one run on five hits while striking out five in 5 2/3 innings against Toronto on June 10. He left that game in the sixth inning with a blister on his right index finger.
