Accident report

1. INTERSTATE 275 AT DALE MABRY HIGHWAY, JUNE 1, 10:29 A.M.: A southbound 1996 Honda lost control on the wet pavement at an exit ramp. The vehicle spun clockwise, hit a sign marker and came to rest facing the wrong way on the ramp.

2. BEARSS AVENUE AT INTERSTATE 275, JUNE 2, 12:07 P.M.: An eastbound 2001 Isuzu changed lanes and sideswiped a 1989 Nissan. The Isuzu driver, a 42-year-old man, was charged with improper lane change.

3. BEARSS AVENUE AT DALE MABRY HIGHWAY, JUNE 2, 3:15 P.M.: An eastbound 1995 Mazda rear-ended a 1994 Toyota. The Mazda driver, an 18-year-old woman, was charged with careless driving.

4. INTERSTATE 275 AT FLETCHER AVENUE, JUNE 2, 6:07 P.M.: The right rear tire blew out on a northbound 1999 Chevrolet Plymouth. The vehicle fishtailed, hit a light pole, crossed into the inside lane and hit a concrete barrier wall head-on.

5. INTERSTATE 75 AT BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD, JUNE 2, 9:05 P.M.: A southbound 1999 Nissan changed lanes and its left side mirror hit the side of a 1999 Buick. The Buick also rear-ended the Nissan. The Nissan driver, a 17-year-old girl, was charged with improper lane change. The Buick driver, a 34-year-old man, was charged with careless driving.

6. INTERSTATE 75 AT FLETCHER AVENUE, JUNE 2, 4:30 P.M.: A northbound 2001 Toyota lost control and rear-ended a 1985 Cadillac. The Cadillac spun counterclockwise and hit a guardrail head-on. The injured were taken to University Community Hospital. The Toyota driver, a 37-year-old man, was charged with careless driving.

7. DALE MABRY HIGHWAY AT VAN DYKE ROAD, JUNE 3, 4:54 P.M.: A southbound 1994 Ford swerved to avoid a collision, lost control, went down a grass embankment and hit a utility pole. The driver, an 18-year-old woman, was charged with careless driving.

8. NEBRASKA AVENUE AT FLETCHER AVENUE, JUNE 6, 7:21 A.M.: A southbound 1994 Chevrolet rear-ended a 1999 Dodge van. The Chevrolet driver, a 53-year-old woman, was not wearing a seat belt and suffered minor head injuries from the windshield. She was charged with careless driving and seat belt violation.

9. BEARSS AVENUE AT BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD, JUNE 6, 7:45 A.M.: An eastbound 1996 Chevrolet truck rear-ended a 1992 Ford. The Ford was pushed into the rear of a 1999 Nissan. The Chevrolet driver, a 20-year-old man, said the Ford made a sudden U-turn in front of him. He was charged with careless driving.

10. INTERSTATE 75 AT BRUCE B. DOWNS BOULEVARD, JUNE 6, 4:50 P.M.: A northbound 1992 Ford truck rear-ended a 1991 Toyota, and the impact caused the Toyota to rear-end a Chrysler. The Toyota rolled over and come to rest facing west blocking both lanes. The Ford continued north and sideswiped the Chrysler. There were no skid marks and police believe the 58-year-old driver of the Ford truck had been drinking. The injured were taken to Tampa General Hospital and University Community Hospital. Charges are pending blood test results.

11. FLORIDA AVENUE AT FLETCHER AVENUE, JUNE 7, 7:30 A.M.: A southbound 1998 Nissan changed lanes and sideswiped a 1997 Honda. The Nissan driver, an 18-year-old man, was charged with improper lane change.

12. DALE MABRY HIGHWAY AT VAN DYKE ROAD, JUNE 7, 5:23 P.M.: A southbound 1994 Ford lost control, spun counterclockwise, crossed the southbound lanes, sideswiped a 2000 Dodge truck, continued east and came to rest in the median facing south. The Ford driver, a 20-year-old man, was charged with careless driving.

13. INTERSTATE 75 AT FLETCHER AVENUE, JUNE 7, 10:45 P.M.: An unknown northbound semitrailer truck changed lanes, sideswiped a 1993 Nissan and left the scene.
