PINELLAS PARK -- Some business owners will be happy to find out they'll be getting a light to help control traffic outside their businesses.

The Metropolitan Planning Organization on Wednesday granted a request for a traffic light at 126th Avenue N and 49th Street. The light already had the support of Pinellas Park officials who paid for a traffic study that showed a light was needed there.

Residents of the Pine Brook subdivision will have to wait a bit to find out if they can celebrate a new light. The MPO put off discussing the installation of a light at 118th Avenue N and Belcher Road, saying they needed to collect new data.
