    Social, youth programs cut from budget

    Gov. Jeb Bush vetoed about $35-million in community social service and youth programs last week. Here is a sampling of the projects that didn't make it:

    Boys & Girls Clubs of Hernando County: $95,000

    Boys & Girls Club of Escambia County Delinquency and Crime Prevention: $18,000

    East Unit of the Boys & Girls Club of Pasco County: $100,000

    Boys & Girls Club of Monroe County: $25,000

    Boys & Girls Club of Nassau County: $100,000

    Boys & Girls Club of Citrus County Inc: $200,000

    South Side Boys and Girls Club: $100,000

    Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center: $515,465

    Children's Advocacy Center -- Orange County: $200,000

    Manatee Children's Group Home: $1-million Manatee County Nursery School: $450,000
