BASEBALL

Eckerd camp

Eckerd College will hold a camp for boys and girls ages 6-14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 25-29. The fee is $125. For information call (727) 864-8253.

Eckerd camps

Eckerd College will run three basketball camps this summer. For information on any of the camps, call (727) 864-7877.

The fundamental camp is for boys and girls ages 7-17. It will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 25-29. The fee is $185.

The beginners camp is for boys and girls ages 7-12. It will run 8:30 a.m. to noon, June 25-29. The fee is $95.

The residential camp is for boys 10-16. The camp will be at the Florida Elks Youth Camp in Umatilla, near Ocala. The fee is $325 per week.

Farragut camp

Admiral Farragut Academy will be holding a camp for boys and girls in grades 3-9 June 25-29. The sessions run from 8:30 a.m.-noon and cost $70. For information call Mike Wells at (727) 347-3023.

Calvary Christian

Calvary Christian School is holding camps. The camp for girls in grades 3-6 is July 16-20; for boys in grades 3-6, July 9-13 and July 23-27. Camp runs from 9 a.m.-noon. For information call (727) 449-2247.

Pinellas Park

An AAU team for girls 12-14 based at the Pinellas Park Boys and Girls Club is seeking players. For information call (727) 544-8668.

Adult league

The city of St. Pete Beach Department of Leisure Services is forming a men's 30-and-over summer league. Games will be played on Thursday nights. The 10-week season costs $300 per team. Registration continues through Thursday. For information, call Shawn Daily, 363-9244.

FOOTBALL

Childs Park

The Childs Park Rattlers Football Organization is holding aregistration and physicals day from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the recreation center locatedat 4301 13th Ave. S. The physicals are $5.00 per child, and a parent or legalguardian must be present. To register your child, you must have a birth certificate,two current pictures and a physical. The price to register $40 for the first child, $35 for the second child and $30 for the third child. For information, call Dwayne Albrittonat 893-7463 or Anthony Hart at 456-3000 Ext. 134.

Clearwater for Youth

Clearwater For Youth Junior Tornadoes are registering players and cheerleaders age 7-15. Registration is from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 7, July 14 and July 21 at The Long Center CFY office, and from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays at the CFY office. Fees are $80 for the first child, $55 for the second and $30 for the third, plus a refundable $20 concession deposit per family. Players must bring birth certificate, two recent photos, Social Security number, insurance information and parent/guardian identification. Practice begins at 6:30 p.m. July 23. Registration for players and cheerleaders age 5-7 will be held on the same dates. Fees are $55 for the first child and $30 for the second. For information call Kevin at the CFY office at 725-4004.

Officials sought

The Sunshine Football Officials of Pinellas County is seeking men and women interested in becoming officials for youth and high school games. Candidates must be at least 17 years old. Training is available. For information call Robb Robbins at (727) 570-8177 or Phillip Kelly at (727) 559-0295.

Thunderbirds registration

The Pinellas Park Thunderbirds youth football organization will hold registrations on these dates: June 30, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; July 14, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; and July 21, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Registration fee is $60 for players and $50 for cheerleaders. A birth certificate, Social Security number, two small photos and a parent or guardian are needed to register. For information call 541-4292.

Azalea registration

Azalea Youth Football will hold registration on these dates: June 30, July 7, July 14, July 21. Registrations will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Azalea field house, 1400 72nd St. N. Evening registration from 6:30-8:30 p.m., will be on July 21. The fee is $55 for the first child, $45 for the second and $35 for the third. The fee for flag football or cheerleading is $40. Equipment fee is $35 for football and $80 for cheerleading. Youths ages 5-15 are eligible. Registrants should bring two small photographs, there Social Security number, and birth certificate. They must be accompanied by parent or guardian. For information call 345-4798.

Dixie Jr. Rebels

The Dixie Jr. Rebels will hold registration for football and cheerleading from 12:30-2 p.m. on June 23 at 7400 62nd Ter. N. Registrants should bring two small photos of themselves, a copy of their birth certificate, Social Security number and must be accompanied by parent or guardian. The fee is $55 per family plus $15 per child. For information call 544-6399.

Childs Park Rattlers

Salvation Army Football Camp
