Florida funnyman returns
Tom Rhodes got his start in comedy in Orlando at 17. He went on to a career on the comedy club circuit and, in the mid-1990s, to his own sitcom, Mr. Rhodes. He also has made frequent appearances on Politically Incorrect, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Later with Craig Kilborn.
Rhodes comes back to Florida this week and plays Tampa's Side Splitters Comedy Club tonight through Sunday. Tickets are $8 for the show at 8:30 p.m. tonight and Sunday and $12-$14 for shows at 8 and 10:30 p.m. Fri.-Sat. Side Splitters is at 12938 N Dale Mabry Highway. (813) 960-1197.
