© St. Petersburg Times, PLAYHOUSE 19 PLAY: The musical Man of La Mancha continues this weekend at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. Show times are 8 p.m. today and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 .m. Thursday. Tickets are $12. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. LOVE AT THE ART LEAGUE: Four love stories intertwine to form Lovers and Other Strangers, which has its final performances this weekend at the Citrus County Art League, 2644 N Annapolis Ave., Hernando. Show times are 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $8 in advance and $9 at the door. Call 746-7606. Look aheadFASHION SHOW: A fashion show and fundraiser for Playhouse 19 will begin at 11:30 a.m. July 14 at the theater, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. The show includes fashions modeled by local celebrities, a buffet lunch and entertaining skits. Funds go to the remodeling at the two recently-purchased buildings. Tickets are $35. Call the Playhouse 19 box office at 563-1333. SAY UNCLE: The Inverness Olde Town Association will have the Uncle Sam Jam street party on July 7. The Uncle Sam Jam will feature a decorated bicycle parade and other children's activities such as two "Moon Walk" booths, carriage rides, patriotic face and nail painting, games, food vendors, a patriotic tribute led by Mayor Joyce Rogers and a street dance to finish the night. FIREWORKS: Crystal River will have fireworks show on July 4. The fireworks will be launched from Kings Bay shortly after dusk, and spectators can view from any neighboring street or parking lot. Before the festival, a family fun day with volleyball, swimming and other activities takes place at Hunter Springs Park. IT'S A BLAST: A boat parade and fireworks show is scheduled for June 30 at Homosassa Riverside Resort, 5297 S Cherokee Way, Homosassa. Other activities include family events happening throughout the day at local business on the Homosassa River. Call 628-2474. DUNNELLON BLAST: The 2001 Boomtown Blast will be held July 4 with many family fun events, including a fireworks show. WTRS 102.3 Thunder Country radio is sponsoring a karaoke contest beginning at 6 p.m. on Tiger Field at Dunnellon High School. There will also be a Bull Patty Bingo event in the side field. Musical entertainment includes GirlTalk opening for Doc Redwater. Other fun and games include a classic car show and a bicycle decorating contest during the celebration. TIME WARP AGAIN: The Rocky Horror Show opens July 13 and continues weekends through July 22 at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Shows are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $14 for adults.
