Pinellas Park National beat Cross Bayou 11-0 Tuesday to win the District 5 Senior Baseball Tournament of Champions. Matt McGee got the win as Kip Perry and Ross Gerber each provided key hits and two RBI.

"I'm real proud of them." said coach Allen Perry of his team, which finished 20-1. "It was a tough year with all the kids in high school and working and all."

The Pinellas Park National team also won the Junior Baseball title Friday, beating Meadowlawn 11-0. Kyle Griffith pitched a complete game, striking out 17 while allowing only two hits. Jimmy Haas went 4-for-4 with three RBI, and Ryan Koch, Justin Marlow and A.J. Fizell each added two hits. "It was the greatest group of kids any coach could ever ask to manage." coach David Griffith said. "They always came through when they needed to."
