ST. PETERSBURG -- If you yearn for a pizza oven or a commercial restaurant range, or just a few black vinyl booths for your rec room, here is your chance. Everything in Mama Leeann's Casa D'napoli Restaurant, 954 First Ave. N, will be auctioned Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m.
The restaurant closed several years ago and on Wednesday, the building was sold to Carol Laughlin for her specialty shop, Anastasia's. The only things she will keep are a sink and some shelves.
Tables, chairs, glassware, fixtures and all the professional kitchen equipment will be sold, said Tom Farner, owner of Bay Area Auction, who is conducting the sale.
"It will all sell," he said. "There's a huge market for restaurant equipment."
And those who come will probably find bargains. Farner anticipates that the sale will reap about $25,000. A new eight-burner range with grill similar to the used one in Leeann's would probably cost about $28,000, Farner said.
