The Coastal Hernando Business Association, also known as the Hernando Beach Business Association, has announced its newly elected officers:

David Warman of Warman Financial Services Inc. has been named president; Paul Morton of Nature Coast Computer Services is vice president; Sharon Sutter of ERA Pearson Realty's Hernando Beach office is secretary; and Ruby Turner, the vice president of marketing at Warman Financial Services, is the treasurer. Joan Lentini of Florida Custom Flag and Design (Fun Flags) has agreed to be in charge of public relations for the organization; her job will be to market and promote CHBA.

The board of directors include: Butch Redmile of H.D. Redmile and Associates, Ernie Brundage of PSDigital, Ray Erickson of Florida Tropics Realty, Gladys Moore of Re/Max Advantage Realty, Paula Morton of Coastline Realty Services Inc. in Weeki Wachee, and Pat Crowley of the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce's marketing department.

The group is working to promote the coastal area west of U.S. 19. Meetings are held at 6 p.m. the first Monday of each month in the Hernando Beach Club on Flamingo Boulevard. No food or tobacco is allowed. The next meeting will be July 2.

Dr. Michael A. Pikos, oral and maxillofacial surgeon and founder of Coastal Jaw Surgery -- The Center for Dental Implants, Facial and Oral Reconstruction and the MAP Implant Institute, recently lectured on dental implants and bone grafting at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in Las Vegas.

Pikos is both a clinician and educator in the field of oral implantology and implant dentistry. His scientific lectures and presentations of advanced live surgical courses during the past 11 years are part of an ongoing commitment to share his dental and surgical expertise, both nationally and internationally.
