By Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published June 26, 2000 TAMPA -- Two armed men made off with the contents of a drugstore's safe and the tape from its surveillance camera Sunday night. Tampa police said two masked, gloved young men walked into the Walgreens store at 2199 E Busch Blvd. about 9 p.m. Sunday. Each of them brandished a gun and ordered the store manager to open the safe and give them all the money. Before they left on foot, they also took the store's surveillance video. Still, the store manager gave police a detailed description of the suspects. Both men were no taller than 5 feet 8, thin and younger than 25. Both young men were black and one wore a black mask, black plaid jacket and blue jeans. The other wore a bandana over his face and a dark shirt, light-colored pants and a blue baseball cap. Anyone with information is asked to call Tampa police at 276-3200.
