Nightly Lottery drawings find new home on WMOR

Beginning Saturday, viewers who watch the Florida Lottery's nightly drawings will see the event move to a new home locally. Independent station WMOR-Ch. 32 picks up the contract to broadcast the drawings in the Tampa Bay area, taking over the duties from PAX affiliate WXPX-Ch. 66. The Cash 3 and Play 4 games air at 7:57 p.m. every night, while the Fantasy 5 drawings are broadcast at 11:15 p.m. each evening. Mega Money airs at 11 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays; Florida Lotto airs at 11 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Audition notice

The Players will hold auditions for Word of Mouth 4, a reading series of new plays by Florida playwrights, on July 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. Performance dates are July 31 through Aug. 6. Prepare a one-minute piece, memorized or read. Auditions will be at the Players Studio in downtown Sarasota. For information, call (941) 365-2494.
