Tropicana Field was the site Wednesday morning for the annual Devil Rays media game, or, as it might also be known, the battle of the bulge. The print media beat the electronic media 6-5, with the game ending on a bases-loaded popup in the ninth. The stadium operations staff videotaped the game and ran replays on the DiamondVision screen in rightfield. The staff claims, however, to have no footage of the ground rule double hit by Times beat writer Marc Topkin.
