Shortly after 9 p.m., a fireworks show takes place at the Rock Crusher Canyon Amphitheater. "It will be an exciting and high-energy show," said Sheree Monroe, spokeswoman for the Canyon."We'll be firing off great special effects called "mine walls' which aren't used in other local fireworks. And the fireworks will be closer." Mine walls are fireworks that "paint;' a banner-type picture in the sky, she said. Monroe said the Rock Crusher fireworks show would last about 20 minutes.
