Man accused of exposing himself at movie theaterBy Times staff writer
© St. Petersburg Times, INVERNESS -- A Dunnellon man was arrested and accused of exposing himself at an Inverness movie theater Friday night. Rudolph Raynaldo Sholes, 53, has been charged with committing a lewd and lascivious act of exhibition in the presence of a child under the age of 16. He was being held at the Citrus County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail. According to an arrest report prepared by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, the complaint against Sholes was made by a woman who was watching a movie at the Citrus Center Theater with her son and niece. Sholes sat down one seat away from the niece, unzipped his pants and started masturbating, the report says. When the woman began screaming, Sholes fled the theater and was arrested by Sheriff's Office deputies near the intersection of North Croft Avenue and East Thomas Street.
