Historical Society installs officers

New officers of the West Pasco Historical Society of New Port Richey have been installed to serve for the 2001-2002 term.
Ann Hildebrand is president; Midge London-Prace, vice president; Norma Nelson, second vice president; George Brandli, treasurer; Ginny Miller, secretary; and Laura Helm, recording secretary.
David Prace, David Welling, Abby Misemer, Marc Bowman and Sandra Lee Werner are directors.
Susan Dillinger will serve as librarian and Mary O'Benar as curator.
Children's fingerprints taken today, Tuesday
The Bank of America and the Pasco County Sheriff's Office will take children's fingerprints without charge from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Bank of America, 2123 U.S. 19, Holiday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at 4526 Bartelt Road, Holiday.

Dixie Grove hosts party on Tuesday
The Dixie Grove Community Association is hosting a luncheon and card party Tuesday at its clubhouse, 1750 Arcadia Road, Holiday.

Scandinavian-Americans plan picnic Tuesday
The Pasco Scandinavian-American Club is sponsoring a picnic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Anderson Park, Shelter 4, Tarpon Springs.
Participants should bring their own dishes and a dessert to share during the coffee hour at 2 p.m. For information, call 842-5781.
VFW Post 10167 hosts dinner-dance
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Holiday Post 10167 is sponsoring a dinner-dance at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the post home, 4619 Bartelt Road, Holiday.
A dinner of spaghetti with meatballs including a glass of wine will be served for $5.25.
