GOVERNMENT CLOSINGS: All federal offices except for U.S. Customs and federal detention centers will be closed on Wednesday, July 4. All state agencies will be closed. County and city offices will be closed, except for police and fire departments.
COURTS: County and federal courts will be closed.
BUSES: Hartline will offer no bus service.
MALLS: Tampa Bay Center, Westshore Plaza, University Mall, Brandon Town Center and Citrus Park Town Center will open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
GARBAGE COLLECTION: City of Tampa solid waste will have no residential or commercial collection services on Wednesday.
Hillsborough garbage, recycling and yard waste will not be collected.
Temple Terrace yard waste will not be picked up.
UTILITIES: Verizon PhoneMarts will be closed. Verizon customer care and repair centers will be open.
TECO will be closed.
People's Gas offices will be open.
POST OFFICES: The Tampa International Airport office will maintain normal 24-hour operations. All other branches will be closed.
SCHOOLS: Hillsborough County public schools and and administrative office, Hillsborough Community College, the University of South Florida and the University of Tampa will be closed.
LIBRARIES: Public libraries will close at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 3 and remain closed for July 4th.
RECREATION:Tampa Recreation Department: All playgrounds and recreation centers will be closed. All beaches will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All pools will be open, except for Conn Natatorium.
Hillsborough County Recreation Department: All recreation areas will be closed. Regional parks will be open.
BANKS: Banks will be closed.
MUSEUMS: The Tampa Museum of Art will be closed.
ATTRACTIONS: The Florida Aquarium will be open on Tuesday, July 3 from noon to 9 p.m., from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and resume regular hours on Thursday.
Busch Gardens will be open regular hours, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Lowry Park Zoo will be open regular hours, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
