Doh, just look it up
Cartoon dad Homer Simpson's favorite expression "Doh!" has become a legitimate part of the English language. The Oxford English Dictionary's online edition defines "doh" as "expressing frustration at the realization that things have turned out badly or not as planned or that one has just said or done something foolish." The word will also be added to the dictionary's next print edition.
Kids at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn., can now visit a place called Cereal Adventure. The attraction opened last month and includes areas such as Cocoa Puffs Chocolate Canyon, where kids can play video games, and Lucky Charms Magical Forest, shown here, where kids can make their way through a maze of giant shamrocks.
Britney Spears is branching out. She will serve as grand marshal for the Pepsi 400 NASCAR Winston Cup Series race this Saturday at the Daytona International Speedway. And her newly formed production company has signed 17-year-old country singer Kristy Lee. Britney will make a cameo appearance in Kristy's first video.
The national Gravity Games Airwalk Amateur Challenge takes place Saturday and Sunday at Clearwater's Central Skatepark, 6140 Ulmerton Road. Athletes can register to compete in skateboarding and biking categories. The event will include non-stop competition, music, food, demonstrations and autograph sessions by members of the Airwalk team.
