Academic Year in America, a nonprofit organization sponsored by the American Institute for Foreign Study Foundation, is looking for host families for international students coming to study in St. Petersburg.
Students 15- to 18-years-old from more than 30 countries will need lodging for five- or 10-month stays. Host families are responsible for providing students two meals a day and a place to sleep and study. They will receive assistance from an AYA local coordinator, and can earn up to $1,000 for travel expenses to visit the students after they return to their countries.
