TAMPA -- The District 6 all-star tournament is two weeks old, and whether it's something in the water or something in the air, one thing is for certain. The girls from Citrus Park-Keystone are playing some serious ball.

The senior league's tournament wrapped up Wednesday with a 4-0 Citrus Park-Keystone victory over Northside, the third trophy claimed by Citrus Park in less than a week.

On July 1, Citrus Park-Keystone's 9-10 division team, which scored 44 runs in four tournament games, won its bracket with an 8-5 win over Tampa Bay. And Sunday, Citrus Park-Keystone's junior team swept Northside in a best-of-three championship series, holding a 15-6 series scoring advantage.

In major softball play, Citrus Park-Keystone will face Tampa Bay for the championship at 10 a.m. today after beating Northside 6-5 in the semifinals.

The senior baseball tournament has reached final-round play, with the Yellow Jackets taking on Palma Ceia at 10 a.m. today at Citrus Park.

In junior baseball, Northwest topped Tampa Bay 4-0 at Skyway while Citrus Park slipped past Northside 2-1. Citrus Park and Northside play at Northside at 10 a.m. Sunday. Both majors semifinal games are at 10 a.m. today at Northwest, with Northside and the Yellow Jackets playing on field A and West Tampa taking on Tampa Bay on field B.

Bayshore's 9-10 baseball team won its tournament with an 8-6 victory over Northside.

In District 13, Bloomingdale won the senior softball tournament by forfeit.

Antioch will play the winner of Friday's late game between Land O'Lakes and East Point in the senior baseball final.

In junior baseball, Temple Terrace and Bloomingdale American have clinched semifinal berths while Bloomingdale will play either Land O'Lakes or East Point in the softball final.

Belmont Heights will play the winner of Land O'Lakes/Lutz in one majors semifinal while Bloomingdale American is waiting for the winner of Bloomingdale National/South Brandon.

Bloomingdale also has reached the final in major softball and won the 9-10 softball tournament with a 9-3 victory over Land O'Lakes on July 1.
