Boston Bob's Bar and Grill has opened at 7370 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach. Owner Robert Morse, a singer and saxophone player who moved from South Boston in 1994, has wanted to open a venue for both musicians and sports fans since he moved here, he says. "There's a heavy Boston theme," said Morse. "But it's not just for Boston Celtics or New England Patriots fans. Everyone is welcome," he says. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Consignment furniture showroom in Seminole

Better Homes and Bargains has opened at 9645 Bay Pines Blvd., Seminole. Before opening the consignment furniture showroom, owner Bill Bowers served as a floor coordinator for Burdines Furniture Gallery in Tampa. He came to Florida 18 years ago from Harrisburg, Pa., where he worked for Ethan Allan Galleries. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Saturday.
