Man hospitalized after fall into Kings BayBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published July 9, 2000 CRYSTAL RIVER -- A man who fell into Kings Bay on Friday night is in serious condition after nearly drowning. The near-drowning took place at the back of Best Western hotel on U.S. 19 at 11:20 p.m., according to the Sheriff's Office. The man was taken to the emergency department at Seven Rivers Community Hospital and later was admitted to the intensive care unit, where he remained Saturday.
