The Tulsa trio will be performing at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 24. Tickets, which are $27.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and can be purchased at the box office and all Ticketmaster outlets. Hanson recently released This Time Around, the follow-up to the 1997 smash Middle of Nowhere. Listen up, girlsThe first radio program targeted to young women was launched Saturday. It's not available on any Tampa Bay area radio stations, but you can hear it online at http://www.chickclickradio.com. The one-of-a-kind audio show aims to entertain and inform young women with Top 40 music, celebrity interviews, short lifestyle features and "voices from the street." Check it out! Really funny jewelryNot only can you read the comics, now you can wear them, too! OddzOn, the company that makes Koosh Balls, is offering a line of fashion accessories for girls called Koosh Cosmic Club. The line includes Com-X, comic strips hand-rolled into beads and strung to make necklaces, chokers, cuffs and bracelets. The jewelry features Garfield and Archie comic strips, among others, and sells for $3 to $6. Magazine goes electronicZillions, the Consumer Reports magazine for kids, has been discontinued as a print magazine but will live on inside your computer. Its new Internet site, http://www.zillions.org, will launch Sept. 1 and offer kids consumer information on everything from backpacks and board games to sneakers and school supplies, just like the magazine did. For now, kids can help out the editors by logging on to the site and evaluating online survey stories, toy tests, polls, comics and more. And they're off!In the Disney Channel's new original movie, Ready to Run, a 14-year-old girl's ability to communicate with horses allows her to team up with one named Thunderjam. Together they pursue their dream of winning a race. Comedian Paul Rodriguez lends his voice to the role of Thunderjam.
