The Opera Club will show a video of Umberto Giordano's Andrea Chenier at a meeting at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Centennial Library, 5740 Moog Road, Holiday.
Andrea Chenier is a fictionalized account of the life and times of the poet and patriot of the French Revolution. The production is from La Scala and stars Jose Carreras in the title role and Eva Marton as Maddelena. Riccardo Chailly is the conductor.
The program begins with notes on the real life of Chenier in relation to the famous uprising in contrast to the opera's libretto. The video will follow the presentation.

Computer group sets workshop Wednesday
The West Pasco Macintosh Users Group is sponsoring a question-and-answer workshop at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Embassy Hills clubhouse, 9509 Palm Ave., Port Richey.

The Knights of Columbus, Father Farrell Council 6476 is hosting a dinner and dance Wednesday at its council hall, 2040 Grand Boulevard, Holiday. Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. with dancing from 7 to 10 p.m. to music by Triple Play. Tickets during July will be sold at $8 for one or $13 for two.
