© St. Petersburg Times, FASHION SHOW: A fashion show and fundraiser for Playhouse 19 will begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the theater, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. The show includes fashions modeled by local celebrities, a buffet lunch, and skits and musical performers, including Sally Langlois, who impersonates Cher. Funds go to remodeling two recently purchased buildings. Tickets are $35. Call the Playhouse 19 box office at 563-1333. ARTISTS MEET: The Citrus County Art League Visual Artists meet from 9:30 to 2 p.m. every Wednesday at the art league, 2644 N Annapolis Ave., Hernando, to work on individual projects. Call Wilbur at 527-3227. LOOK AHEADSHAKESPEARE: The Citrus County Art League presents its sixth annual Shakespeare in the Hills festival from July 27 to Aug. 12. The plays are As You Like It and Othello. The plays will be presented in rotation with As You Like It at 7:30 p.m. July 27-28, Aug. 3 and Aug. 11; and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 5. Othello performances are at 2:30 p.m. July 29, Aug, 4 and Aug 12; and at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 4 and Aug. 10. Tickets for a single show are $8 in advance, $9 at the door. Both shows are $12 in advance and $13 at the door. Students are $5 for single shows and $8 for both shows. Box office hours are 1 to 4 p.m Tuesday through Friday. Tickets go on sale July 17. Call 746-7606. PUPPET SHOW: Puppeteer Nancy Kenton performs at 2 p.m. July 20 at the Citrus County Auditorium, U.S. 41 S, Inverness. Kenton has performed at the White House, Kennedy Center, Detroit Museum of Art and at festivals, schools and libraries in eight states. Her puppet shows are fast paced and full of music, humor, magic tricks and loads of audience participation. Admission is free. The show is sponsored by the Citrus County Library System and is the finale for the Florida Library Youth Program, a four-week program that reached 5,000 children last year. SUPER RAFT RACE: The Citrus 95.3/Country Fox 96.3 Super Raft Race will begin at noon July 28 on the Homosassa River at K.C. Crumps Restaurant and Kibbie's Dockside on Halls River Road. The raft race is a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Citrus County. EXHIBIT: The traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution, Yesterday's Tomorrows, may be viewed through Aug. 11 at the Historic Citrus Courthouse Museum in Inverness. CURTAIN CALLSAUDITIONS: Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 Crystal River, will have auditions for the musical Cabaret at 7 p.m. July 23 and 24. Auditioners must have at least 32 bars of music prepared that show their vocal range. Bring sheet music. Accompanist will be provided. A piece from the show is recommended. Bring sheet music or a tape. QUICK TRIPSCHILDREN'S ANNIE: The story of Little Orphan Annie, condensed for children and renamed Annie Jr., will be presented at 7:30 p.m. today; 2:15 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday; and 2:15 p.m. Sunday at Ocala Civic Theater, 4337 E Silver Springs Blvd. The play retains such memorable songs as Tomorrow, Hard Knock Life and You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile.
