NIGHT WALK: There will be a night walk through Chassahowitzka Preserve at 8 p.m. today. Walkers should meet at the preserve entrance on Indigo Lane off U.S. 19, north of Weeki Wachee. This free event is sponsored by the Chinsegut Nature Center. Call 754-6722.

COLD BLOODED: The Chinsegut Nature Center will have a reptile and amphibian walk at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the center, north of Brooksville. To reach the center, take U.S. 41 north of Brooksville 7 miles, then turn left on County Road 476 and go 1 mile. The nature center is on the left side of the road. The event is free. Call 754-6722.

CANAAN DAYS CONTINUE: The musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat continues through Aug. 19 at Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. NEW FACES: Five local performers will be featured in New Faces for 2002, a Tribute to Broadway at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Pasco-Hernando Community College Performing Arts Center, Ridge Road, New Port Richey. Performers will include Jamie Perlow, Jill Assalti, Jeannette Assalti, Mikki Taylor and Michael Martin singing favorite tunes from vaudeville and Broadway. Admission is $10. Call (727) 848-5859.
