- The Clearwater Summer Concert Series continues today with The Barracudas, featuring '70s and '80s music, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Coachman Park, 301 Drew St., downtown Clearwater. It's free. Lawn chairs, blankets and coolers are permitted.
- Gainesville's own The Causey Way plays its energetic dance punk that harkens back to Devo and the B-52s at 9 p.m. today at Club More, 703 Franklin St., Clearwater. Admission is $7 at the door. Call (727) 466-6673.
- Take a culinary history lesson with a Cracker dinner, a four-course meal of Florida cuisine and entertainment at 5 p.m. today at the Rock Crusher Canyon Garden Pavilion, 275 S Rock Crusher Road, Crystal River. Don't be surprised to find a plate full of alligator tail, fried catfish, cheese grits, black-eyed peas and hush puppies that were the staples for Florida Crackers, or cattle ranchers, the first modern settlers. - It's Submarine Weekend on TCM, a festival of underwater classics that continues through Sunday. It starts at 8 p.m. with the 1933 feature Hell Below. Also featured: Run Silent, Run Deep (1958) at 10 p.m., Torpedo Run (1958) at midnight, and Das Boot (1981) at 2 a.m.
- It was almost a year ago -- July 16, 1999 -- when John F. Kennedy Jr.'s plane was lost. On JFK Jr.: Final Flight, The Learning Channel includes a "forensic analysis" of what is known about the flight from New Jersey to Massachusetts. 10 p.m.
