Armas (7-7, 3.71) once was a top Yankees prospect . He was traded to Boston for Mike Stanley, then to Montreal as part of the Pedro Martinez deal. He lost in a start against the Rays last July, allowing 10 hits and five earned runs in 52/3 innings.
