The cure for the summertime blues arrives with the TASCO Extreme Pool Party for Teens, 8-11 p.m., at North Shore Pool, 901 North Shore Drive NE, downtown St. Petersburg. With music by DJ and "wacky raft races" and games. Tickets are $4. Call (727) 892-5060.

Comedian George Wallace performs at 8 tonight at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Carol Morsani Hall. He's been a staple on the comedy circuit for 23 years and made appearances on Seinfeld, Late Show With David Letterman and in the films Punchline and Batman Forever. Tickets are $19.75-$29.75. See how the cowpokes do it at an exhibition of barrel racing and bull riding today at the Batten Ranch, 27151 Soult Road east of Brooksville. Racing begins at 7 p.m., and bull riding starts at 8 p.m. Admission is $3, and drinks and food will be available. For information, call (352) 796-8444.

Today is the last day to catch the Summer One-Act Festival at the St. Petersburg Little Theater, 4025 31st St. S. Works by Christopher Durang, David Mamet, James M. Get out those attic treasures, the Kiwanis Club of Palm Harbor and the Palm Harbor Senior Activity Center will hold an Antiques Appraisal Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Palm Harbor Senior Action Center, 1500 16th St., Palm Harbor. Dealers will assess the value of glass, toys, furniture, collectibles, porcelain, art, pottery and other items (no jewelry, guns or military items). Call (727) 771-6000.
