Red Faction is a top-notch, first-person game that offers plenty of weapons and a huge mining facility to explore. The story of workers on Mars rising up against their abusive bosses is inspired.

Pinobee is a fairly easy but enjoyable action game about a robotic bee. Players can zip through levels or explore them for items and special enemies that affect future levels.

The show might be getting a little old, but the game is still fun, not to mention educational. The questions are interesting but tend to repeat themselves after a while.

Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire

Atlantis differs from typical action games because players can switch among five characters to solve puzzles. It also seems challenging enough to keep older kids interested.

Commander Keen

SYSTEM: Game Boy Color

As 8-year-old Commander Keen, players take their blaster and pogo stick into side-scrolling battle with aliens. It's a kids game, but the difficulty seems a little much.

The Land Before Time: Great Valley Racing Adventure

Great Valley Racing is an introductory racing game for young kids. It's not difficult and contains characters from the popular Land Before Time movie and video series.
