© St. Petersburg Times, GODSPELL AT PLAYHOUSE: The young actors who participated in the Summer Theatre Workshop at Playhouse 19 are presenting Godspell for a two-weekend run. Show dates are today, Saturday and Sunday and July 26-29. Evening performances are at 7 p.m., Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students. Call 563-1333. COURTHOUSE MUSEUM: Yesterday's Tomorrows, a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian Institute, will be at the Historic Citrus County Courthouse Museum in Inverness through Aug. 11. Museum and store are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Call 341-6436. LOOK AHEADRAFT RACE: The Citrus 95.3/Country Fox 96.3 Super Raft Race begins at noon July 28 on the Homosassa River at K.C. Crumps Restaurant and Kibbie's Dockside on Halls River Road. Other events include bikini and iron man contests. The event is a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Citrus County. SHAKESPEARE: The Citrus County Art League presents its sixth annual Shakespeare in the Hills festival from July 27 to Aug. 12. The plays are As You Like It and Othello. They will be presented in rotation, with As You Like It at 7:30 p.m. July 27, 28, Aug. 3 and Aug. 11 and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 5. Othello performances are at 2:30 p.m. July 29, Aug, 4 and Aug 12, and at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 4 and Aug. 10. Tickets for a single show are $8 in advance, $9 at the door. Both shows are $12 in advance and $13 at the door. Student tickets are $5 for single shows and $8 for both shows. Box office hours are 1 to 4 p.m Tuesday through Friday. Tickets are on sale. Call 746-7606. SATELLITES AT ROCK CRUSHER: The Satellites, a Tampa rock and blues band, performs July 27 at Rock Crusher Garden Pavilion, 275 S Rock Crusher Road, Crystal River. Members of the group have performed in other bands in many of the country's largest venues, as opening acts for Jimi Hendrix, Little Richard and Elton John. Satellite member Paul Granger is an original member of Dire Straits. The groups also performs a Blues Brothers Tribute. Tickets are $15, which includes a buffet. Call 795-1313. CURTAIN CALLSAUDITIONS: Playhouse 19 will have auditions for the musical Cabaret at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the theater, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. Auditioners must sing at least 32 bars of a song and bring sheet music for an accompanist. Musicians must have an up-tempo piece, preferably from the show. QUICK TRIPSAPPLETON ART: "Masters of the 20th Century" a photography exhibit, continues at the Appleton Museum of Art, Ocala. The exhibit, culled from the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, contains approximately 150 images described as the cream of the crop from the Ringling's photography selection, which the Appleton director ranks as the finest in the southeast United States. "Masters of the 20th Century" focuses on how a photograph, which starts out as a simple documentary, is manipulated into a more striking image. The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Docent-led tours are offered at 1:15 p.m. weekdays. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and $2 for students over 18; children and teens under 18 admitted free. The photography exhibit runs through Aug. 26. Call (352) 236-7100. SOUTHERN ROCK: The 1980s boogie band, the Georgia Satellites, will perform at Bourbon Street Concert Club, 4331 U.S. 19, New Port Richey. Their single Keep Your Hands to Yourself was No. 2 on Billboard Magazine's chart in 1986. Members Rick Richards and Rick Price released the album Let It Rock in 1993. Opening act is bluesman Sean Chambers. Doors open at 8 p.m.; show at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. MUSICAL: The musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat continues at Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. Performances are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 1:30 p.m. Saturday and July 28 and Aug. 2; and at 3 p.m. Sundays. Doors open two hours before each show for buffet and cash bar.
