A 47-year-old Port Richey woman was being held without bail Saturday in the Hernando County Jail after she was charged with attacking her sister during a dispute over possessions of their dead mother.

Barbara Ellen Kenny of 8020 Bushnell Drive was charged Friday with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and domestic battery after she threatened Dawn Hugentobler of Spring Hill with a tire iron, jail records say. According to Hernando County Jail records, Kenny went to her sister's home on Waterfall Drive on Friday evening to drop off items belonging to their late mother. When Hugentobler refused to accept the items, the report said, Kenny attacked her, grabbing her neck.

Hugentobler ran inside, while Kenny stood outside a window, brandishing a tire iron and saying, "Jesus compels me," according to the report.

Kenny was arrested as she was driving away from her sister's home.
