Bear and his friends, stars of a Disney Channel series, will welcome, welcome, welcome kids to the Big Blue House in a Broadway-style stage show today through Sunday at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center in Tampa.

Bear is a loveable guy, created by Jim Henson Television, who offers guidance and friendship to his friends: a mouse named Tutter, small bear Ojo, otters Pip and Pop, lemur Treelo and the moon Luna. They sing, play and talk about life. (Most of the tunes are pretty catchy for adults, too.)

Bear in the Big Blue House begins at 7 p.m. today with $12 admission. Tickets for the shows at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Fri.; 10:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sat.; and 1 and 4:30 p.m. Sun. are $13-$24. Children 18 months and younger will be admitted for $5 as long as they sit in an adult's lap.

For more information, call (813) 229-7827 or toll-free 1-800-955-1045.
