CRYSTAL RIVER 4, HIGHLANDS COUNTY O: Lecanto hurler Jimmy Metz pitched a one-hit shutout to lead Crystal River past Highlands County, the host team of the state tournament.

CRYSTAL RIVER 18, MILTON COUNTY 4: Crystal River scored nine runs in the sixth inning behind a home run and triple by Clayton Trenary (4-for-4, two triples), a triple by Jonathan Runnels and a double by Marcus Galvan.

CRYSTAL RIVER 6, LAKE REGION 1: Ryan Lindeman allowed one hit over seven innings and struck out eight to lead Crystal River into the semifinals. Crystal River scored two runs in the third inning and four in the seventh.

CRYSTAL RIVER 9, SUWANNEE COUNTY 0: Trenary, Matt Maggiore and Galvan combined to allow one hit over seven innings, and Runnells knocked in two runs to send Crystal River into the final.

CRYSTAL RIVER 7, LAKE REGION 4: Bobby Stack allowed seven hits and struck out four and Metz picked up the save as Crystal River claimed the state championship in convincing fashion. Crystal River broke the game open with a five-run rally in the second inning behind a two-run single from Runnels and an RBI double by Trenary.
