Northoftampa: Open and shut

CELLULAR STORE OPENS: Alltell Communications opened on June 18 at 15415 N Dale Mabry Highway, at the corner of Northdale Boulevard near TGI Friday's. They carry cellular phones for Motorola, Kyocera and Nokia. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. For information, call (813) 264-6006.

Cross Creek

SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN 6 AND YOUNGER OPENS: The Primrose School of Cross Creek is having a ground-breaking ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the construction site, 10301 Cross Creek Blvd.

The school is scheduled to open in November for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. Like other Primrose schools across the country, the curriculum emphasizes students' social, physical, emotional and intellectual growth.

The center will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Transportation to and from local elementary schools also will be available. For information, call owner Jana Sappenfield at (813) 994-6800.
