Highs

Highs

THE RAYS: Trading Albie Lopez was pretty much a given. But to able to unload Mike DiFelice to clear the way for star prospect Toby Hall, and get two promising players and cash, now that was genius.

THE BUCS: All the draft choices are signed, camp is beginning and hopes are high.

Middle

MILES BYRNE: Ian Woosnam's caddy didn't count the clubs in the bag, but give Byrne a high for taking the blame without making excuses -- and give Woosnam one for not whacking Byrne with the extra driver.

Lows

"VOLUNTARY" WORKOUTS: Raise your hand if you believe the summer workouts at the University of Florida (or any other university for that matter) are really "voluntary." We hope the death of Eraste Autin will persuade the NCAA to better regulate them.

USF BASKETBALL: You want to see the Bulls play Billy Donovan's Gators? Then prepare to plunk down $155 for season tickets because USF plans to sell single-game tickets for every home game ... except against Florida. There's more than one way to build attendance. This isn't it.
